Well put, my friend, but damn if I don't feel guilty as hell anyway. It's just seems that Ventus is ALWAYS a catalyst for trouble, even if he does not mean to. Bloody hell...

I'm sorta at a loss how to fix relationship between both Nathan and Shiva, other than just waiting and apologizing for being offucating/an asshole. Though I know the general plan if this general scenario happens: Just open up about the relevant details, damnit, and note be so gosh darn mute about things!

The main problem I have with Ven's backlash against her is That he would have been both smart and empathetic enough to figure out her statement, but I was too ignorant to see it for myself. Ven has absolute control over his emotions, and can still think and act logically/rationally even if he goes off the deep end, one way or another.

He literally can't lose himself: every action or word he says is deliberate and well thought out, even if that thought process is fueled by anger. He intended to snub Shiva sensibilities for 'badmouthing' Nathan, even if he didn't mean for her to become depressed over it...That just make the misunderstanding all the worse, in my mind!

Then he will have to deal with Nathan getting upset over the misunderstanding, the misunderstanding itself, and just how he going to unsticky the relationship between him and Shiva. Perhaps Nathan can be the mediator for once, as he's the least involved in THAT mess...
