I wanted to keep it a surprise just for this reason ! Ben doesn't quite consider his olive branch proposal a date , but knows things can quickly lead to that point . He reluctant and very resistant to do this , but it's the only way he know now to fix this mess he caused. A but strong and brute forcish , but if it works , it works !

Plus , didn't both of uis want to get started on that romantic subplot , right ?
