Shoot...he was right...darn it, he was used to attracting attention like that, but he should have looked first...he was far too focused on the task at hand...he had no excuses, particularly since he was now suddenly an empath...Reiner is furious now. Both with Archie, and with himself. But while he's angry, he still has a battle to win. And if nobody's around, that means there's nobody to keep him from messing with Archie, either...well, except Team Rocket, but Archie didn't need to know that...yet.
Well then...time to play the trump card. The stare Reiner gives Archie could match a Mega Arbok's Glare, if not surpass it. "Then I guess you won't mind if I do something even crazier and even more highly amusing then." Reiner looks to the newly arrived dragon on the field. "Coatlith, you really want to fight for this guy, who's letting his Heliolisk roast without a care in the world and frequently denied you happiness by preventing you from doing what you love most? I can assure you that there's far more suitable trainers for a strong fighter such as you than him. I might even be able to introduce ya to one or two, ya know. I'm sure they'd make ya FAR happier than him. I know strong dragons with a love for battle when I see them since I grew up seeing such creatures every day of my youth, and I also know when a pokemon hasn't been treated properly. If you doubt my ability and care, look at my pokemon. How many of them look particularly dissatisfied with me? If you don't help Archie in this battle, I can promise that we'll find you a more suitable trainer for one who values their freedom and power as much as you. On my honor as a Dragon Tamer, I assure you that my pokemon and I will do you no harm and help you find someone truly worthy of your might."
Back to the battle..."Kingdra, it's time for your most powerful technique. Show that Ninetales who's boss, but do show them the same courtesy that we've been given." And with that, he whips out a second potion and uses it on Kingdra! (8/9 HP).
"Arbok, you keep up the pressure. Bite that Ninetales a few times, please. Let's show him that there's scarier things than being set on fire."
Draco Meteor on Ninetales! Non-lethal.
Accuracy: 3 Dex + 4 Fight + 1 Canalize - 1 Acc + 1 Sniper + 2 Single Action = 10 D6
Damage: 3 Strength + 6 Power + 1 SDF + 1 STAB - 4 Def = 7 D6
Bite x3 on Ninetales
Accuracy: 2* Dex + 4 Fight + 2 Brawl + 1 Coil - 3/4/5 Actions = 5/4/3
Damage: 3* Strength + 2 Power + 1 STAB - 4 Defense = 2 D6
Effect: 5 D6 Flinch chance.
Side Effect
Reiner's playing the empath and Dragon Tamer card now, as well as his ability as a trainer VS Archie's! Will the unhappy Coatlith continue to fight for a trainer he's dissatisfied with when one could potentially offer him a life that better fits his desires?
