Reiner runs in the direction of that blood trail immediately.

That didn't look good.  

He still has one potion left and a Sitrus Berry (the very same one he'd given Mew before their battle) as well.

He just hoped he wasn't too late...

If someone were around to observe your speed, you would almost appear a blur to them. With Mew lighting up the phantom trail of blood, you doggedly follow it, growing more and more tense as you saw bigger and bigger spatters intersperse along the way, along with the tell tell signs of burning. Soon, you reach the entrance way of an alley, where the psychic's powers lite up a HUGE blood stain on the ground, one that was still very fresh.... A few yards into the ally, you see something that sets the hairs on your back on end: Smeargle, splayed against the wall with a bullet hole in their chest, their head slumped down at the chest. The body was cool to the touch, and flies had already begun swarming it, laying eggs and beginning the decomposition cycle...

Wretching you gaze away from the sight, you quickly continue on your frantic search, Mew's powers no longer necessary as the assalent made no effort to hide the puddles of blood that guided you along the way. Looks like either they were either very recent...or the killer didn't care about covering his trail this far into the back ally network. 15 minutes of running through the dark correndours of the city pass, until the trail aburtly ends right on the long side of the dumpster. With it blocking your view, you rush past it, seeing...

Leaning on the side of the dumpster, was Emily. Eyes wide opens, with a bullet hole straight between the eyes. Tightly grip in her hands was her art book, bloody soaking into from both her head and a shoulder wound you can see. Despite the mess, a beautiful picture can still be seen: You, Emily, and all your Pokémon, celebrating over you bringing back her money with cake and ice cream.

....What now?
