"So you do remember a little of what happened...yes, you should be dead...but you're not.  Not now.  You have Archie and his Shiny Ninetales, Kyubi, to blame for that first part, and Mew to thank for the second.  The problem is...there's side effects.  Mew's not at her full power, so she had to use the life of a Doduo I had recently acquired to revive you...and now there's a few Doduo like traits evident in you, both physical and emotional it seems...I...don't know if there's any other way I can tell you all that...I ticked off Archie something terrible when I confronted him, and he took out his anger on you when he couldn't beat me...I'm sorry for putting you through that, Emily...this shouldn't have involved you so much...I should have come straight to you...but Archie is no fool...he might have eventually gotten to you anyways...he's one of the Sterlings, so he had more than enough resources to hunt you down whenever he desired to if you had disappeared on him...and if that's the case...I'm just glad I managed to find you in time...enough to reverse most of what he'd done..."
