Gym Leader Chuckles was defeated!!

The somewhat discontent researcher lets out weary, but happy sigh of relief as Chuckles last Pokémon 'gave up the ghost'  and passed out on the battle field. Apsis, battered, beaten, bruised, and beleaguered by Chuckle's Ghost Pokémon, drew up to her full height and let out a emboldened, triumphant *Hiiiiiiissss!*, feeling that she thoroughly accomplished her given role in battle. No malady, be it a Curse, Sleep, or grevious pain stopped her from guarding her master's friend Pokémon from her harm, and she certainly spread some misfortune herself. She slithered back toward not her master's side, but Nathan's , giving the boy a tired but expectant look with their snake eyes. Time for him to fulfill his end of the bargin, after all that bodily harm she took on his Pokemon's behalf, hiiisssss.....

Sparing a bemused glance at his Arbok's priorities, Ventus walked over to shake Sir Chuckles hand and receive his semi unique Gym Badge/Monetary Reward. "That was a grueling, arduous, and fierce battle you gave us, but it was a fine one none of the less. I'm not to pleased with the tactics utlizied by you , but I am not going to let those moves spoil things between us....too much. Thank you for the excellent match, sir.
