This sounds very interesting - now I feel like Helios, being the vivid Psychic-Type he is, is sharing a emotional bond with me, while Ghastly as the toxic Ghost-Type prefers a tangible bond to Valder through the shadows. It's comprehensible that he fears for this bond being cut by a trading machine a little more than future-Kadabra.
It interest me as well, but Ventus would already know this tibit of knowledge, given his status as a sociologist, Pokémon Researcher that specialized in studying behavior and how to manage/control it, and his own interest in the type. He'd be a bit bashfull if he heard that he was regarded as a well renowed sociologist, though. Part of the reason he came to Cheshire is so that he could conduct his research in relative animoty and peace, as well as studying the unique behavior and social pattern/norm/mores/etc of Pokémon here.
Ghost, Fairies, and Psychic, as well as Dragon and Steel types to an extent, would share a far more unique bond with their trainer. Psychic has a mental bond/connection on top of the regular trainer bond, Fairies are highly empathetic and attentive to their own trainer's feelings (also like Psychic types, but to a lesser/more complicated extent) and can influence them to varing degrees , and Ghost bond with their trainer is both spiritual and emotional in nature. How fascinating!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
