My, the suprise was indeed real, although Shiva did ot show the full suprise on the outside. An adorable Helioptile, common seen in Kalos, very rarely seen elsewhere. She actually thought they don't enjoy hot sunny weather too much... anyway! "What a neat reptile you have there! You tell me where you got it from?" Nightshade was a sailor, so she'd likely paid Kalos a visit or twice - ah, the actual home of the Fairy Type.

So be it then. Victreebell was clearly the bigger threat, though. Defeating the fly catcher had priority for now... "Fennekin, concentrate now! we can cuddle later. That is, after our victory!~ Please begin with showing Victreebel some of your Embers. You, Kyuu, seek cover from it's Grass-Type moves, and show how sharp your claws are between the Embers. I'll take care that you'll be able to use some of your psychic powers actively against a foe."


Orders for this round: Focusing on Victreebel now. Fennekin will spam Ember on it, while Kyuu will seek cover from any Grass-Type moves coming from Victreebel and plaque it with Scratches, both until either Victreebel is defeated, or anything happens that needs my immediate interaction. Come back to only two Embers if Fennekin suffers a Pain Penalization, in that case Blaze will be triggered.


Effect: No debuffs or buffs now, raw damage is it.
Secondary Effect: There's still the audience... I feel like Shiva could get used to battle with audience.
Pain Penalization: 0 on both of my Pokemon on-field.

Damage Roll: 2 Strenght + 2 Power of move + 1 STAB + 1 due to Sunny Weather = 6 D6 + 1 autodamage due to SE
Additional notes: 1 CD to inflict Burn1.

Accuracy Roll Scratch 1: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 0 Brawl - 2 Actions = 3 D6
Accuracy Roll Scratch 2: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 0 Brawl - 3 Actions = 2 D6
Damage Roll: 2 Strength + 2 power of move = 4 D6, not bad.
Additional notes: Victreebel could devour both of my Pokemon in whole and at once, lol.

Depending on what ability Helioptile has, it may suffer 1 autodamage at the end of each Round.
