Here's the thing about 1.1.0 Confusion: all it says about the pokemon hurting itself is 'it may hurt itself at the GM's discretion.' Pretty vague...do whichever you're more comfortable with, though. In the campaign I'm planning, I'll probably stick with the 1.2 version myself, since it means Confusion is actually kinda relevant...
I think I have a plan to deal with the Confusion, though. So let's see how much the dice like me this time...
