It won't stall long. If someone doesn't pick an encounter in a day I just move on without them.

However we could ask @Nylon if, as a character, he has a rule to never try to take an encounter someone else calls dibs on. If that were the case he could just pick from the leftovers after being AFK for a while.

True, I don't take an encounter already taken, it's an inefficient sport. If the encounter isn't a mythicial Pokemon that is. In that case I'll throw away any morals.
