As for Shiva approaching Nathan by the help of dear Kirlia, @Dragonstrike, I doubt this will happen... She'll likely understand what is going on if Kirlia nudges her in this direction, but she'll still be relucant to approach him on her own. For the reasons I gave earlier, which were 1. her naturally respectful atttude, she knowd talking about the issue will make Nathan feel uncomfortable and 2. she ist simply busy with her own issues and things. I'm sorry, but it looks like this time Nathan has to work out things on his own.

If you don't mind me saying, there's just a bit of irony in that course of action, I feel.  Sure, Shiva can be respectful and whatnot, and yes, she's busy with her own problems as well.  Nathan has much the same mindset in those regards.  But as the old saying goes, 'treat others how you want to be treated.'  Nathan has a lot of concern for those he views as friends, which is one reason why he (carefully) checked on Shiva despite his initial reluctance to do so.  He'd really, really appreciate it if Shiva were to do the same, even if he's not fully aware of it himself.  And he did tell her he was up for talking about anything.  Multiple times, even.

And if Kirlia starts subtly nudging Shiva in that direction, he's probably going to keep doing so until Nathan's either gotten over the issue or Shiva gives in and just goes to talk to him.  Or Shiva scares him off or completely rejects the idea or something.
