'Whoa...dang, the Elders certainly know how to breed 'em...'
That Aqua Tail usage was actually pretty clever...and very, very appreciated by both him and Emily.
But wow, Reiner hadn't expected Dragonair to...well...read him so perfectly...he could feel the dragon's presence throughout his entire being...there was no secret he could hide from this majestic dragon...and it didn't melt or take over the Dragonair's mind just from contact with Reiner's mind, either, which was certainly impressive in its own right...training the Dratini line was surely going to be a VASTLY different experience compared to raising the Horsea line...
After Reiner's caught his breath, he cracks a smile when Yang is done with speaking. "Of course, Yang, I understand. I have the utmost respect for pokemon such as yourself, and I'll do my best to prove myself worthy of your strength."
Oh? A note? Must be from Lindworm...let's see here...Deluxe Mineral Oil, Fine Terry Cloth Rag, High Quality Dragon Rations, Leftovers, First Action in battle...well, he at least had one of those things already, courtesy of Raijin and Archie. The care items could likely be found in the festival pretty easily too...well, that shopping list didn't look too hard to fill, even if it did sound a little...expensive. Aside from maybe that first action in battle, but there were ways to try and bolster the odds of fulfilling that criteria...
"I'll work on obtaining these items for ya at the soonest opportunity. In fact, I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear I've got one of them already." He hands the Leftovers he'd obtained from Raijin to Yang. "You're welcome to relax there for the time being. I've still got a few things to discuss with Emily and Mew here, so it's no trouble. We have a busy day ahead of us afterwards, though, so I hope you don't mind testing your battle prowess later."
He turns to Emily once more. "Well then, he's very nice as far as Dragonair go, which I'm very happy to see and very appreciative of. I've seen some really rowdy ones in my time. What do you think of him, Emily? If you want to draw him, maybe he'll agree to cooperating with ya for a little bit if you ask nicely and show him some of your other drawings."
