Oh...so it would be permanent...oh dear...

Well, on the bright side, having an insider in the Police force was certainly a benefit for Team Rocket's operations...and it's a good thing Reiner carries around plenty of spare sunglasses since they tend to break so easily...he'd have to hand a few pairs to Angelica on the sly as soon as he was done here...this was probably something he was going to have to inform Proton and the boss about directly if he needed to explain what the heck had just happened...he could make this work...even though it was incredibly awkward in a lot of ways...making it seem normal and treating it as such was going to be the most difficult part...

Hmmm...speaking of unlocking and developing weird tricks...Reiner discretely reaches into his bag and pulls out the Extra Rare Candy to show Mew.

'Mew, do you know what kind of effect this might have on unlocking potential?  I know that Extra Rare Candies can make a pokemon subtly stronger if they're already strong, but what if there was power locked away or still developing?'

He was curious to see what Mew knew of the treat.  He was mostly asking for Mew's sake, but if it couldn't help her regain a little of her former power...well, thinking about it, doesn't that last part he mentioned apply to him now as well?  Hmmm...
