Fury Strikes is kind of an edge case, because it's three actions all taken in a row. Counter is worded to affect the most recent one. So I added two to the dice pool of the most recent Fury Strike success. If it hits but does no damage, Wobbuffet still gets to roll all 3 damage dice.
Counter will quite commonly be 3d6 for Wobbuffet because of his high Vit, but of course it will deal more when very powerful moves are used, or if the opponent crits, or when an ability is helping increase the damage pool.
Wobbuffet is fully healed. Seeing this, Heatmor snatches the Potion bottle out of Ventus' hands! He sticks his tongue in there, looking for any traces left. But Wobbuffet has greedily eaten it all.
So Heatmor pulls out a Sitrus Berry and eats that instead!
Now both Pokemon are at full health.
I really like that Counter is more effective in second rounds, since Ventus' high survival makes him tend to go first.. It works great with trainer actions. A savvy opponent can try to break the chain, but Heatmor is just getting angry.
Wobbuffet Fights An Anteater Round 4
Counter
(5)(1)(5)(5)(4)(6) Hey! The forums said you can crit.
So this will be 5d6!
(6)(5)(6)(3)(5) Heatmore takes 4 dmg! 3/7hp -2 pain.
That pain will cause Heatmor to lose out on one of his attacks.
Fury Swipes
(4)(4)
(4)
Both hit, however.
(5)
(6)
Wobbuffet takes 2 damages. 6/8hp.
The madder Wobbuffet gets, the harder it is for Ventus to hold back laughter, which makes Wobbuffet more determined and awkward. To the point where Nathan can hear Wobbuffet loudly protesting every Fury Swipe even over the noise of his own battle.
