Nathan and Ventus, acting like they are complete strangers with each other. I hate this a lot, but what can I do that won't make things worse? Its not like having Ven go up and try to chat your character up will solve anything but a severe case of bordom OOC. Blegh, this is just distasteful...

Could be worse.  He could be moodily icy still and move as far away as he can from Ventus.

Also, while Nathan is doing his best to hide the worry, I'll mention he's not really thought to hide the loneliness that he's been feeling.  It's been mitigated somewhat by Miller and his pokemon, but it should still be fairly easy for Ventus to pick out if he spends a little time analyzing it...

Can't hide his emotions from Ventus, its just that the researcher thinks that if he approaches Nathan first before he gets over whatever is troubling he, he'll just compound the problem, not improve upon it. Even if he knows that Nathan is feeling alone and worried, Ven has been lashed out at far too many time for trying to help him, so going over their and possibly provoke him into doing so is more or less a bad idea to the empath, barring pressing reasons.
