(there was nothing I could have done to go first anyways unless I stacked a few dexterity debuffs on Brigid or massively boosted my pokemon's dexterity somehow since Brigid rolled a 6 on initiative and is naturally faster than a Rhyperior by base stats.  The only pokemon I had that could have potentially naturally outsped her was Felicia, and only if she also rolled a 6 on initiative)

"Arial, this battle is still far from over.  As for the jacket and hat...well, don't bug me about it.  I'm not the one who set them on fire."  Back to the battle...

"Tsk tsk.  You're looking tired, Valarie.  Keep up with doing feats like that, and you're going to burn out much like Brigid just did, though I must admit that it was certainly an impressive display of power."

An Ariados?  Hmmm...

"Well then, going for a less direct approach now, hm?  Very well.  I think I've got a good answer for your spider."

*Hisssss*

"What say you we show this bug a thing or two about battling, Arbok?"

Time for some more initiatives before I decide on what to do!
