Rhyxemplar Initiative: (1) + *8 (*4 DEX + 3 Survival + 1 Zen State) = 9 He is not going first period.
The giant old man was utterly unfazed by the metal Kaiju re-entering the battlefield, even after all the hard work Brigid did putting them down in the first place was undone. All he did was let out an amused chuckle and inclined his head towards you, acknowledging your word with nary a protest or word. He didn't get to his ripe old age without learning to take the worst of any given situation with all the grace and humor he had on hand.
Peter, even as full of bluster and sass from his recent victory over Mega Arbok, was more than intimidated by the giant metal monster gearing up to skrewer him with their horns, and started spewing gobs of silk to hobble their offense!

Rhyxemplar’s DEX is drastically lowered by 2! (Surprise! Triggered)
Letting out a displeased grunt at his limbs being coated in silk, Rhyxemplar took the time free himself from his bides and clean up his metal plates while he was at it!

Rhyxemplar regains the DEX he just lost!
Alarmed that the metal monster successfully freed himself from their silken bonds, the arachnids furiously started to burrow into the earth to avoid the beast's first attack, and give himself time to plan how to counter their impressive fortitude.
Because of this, the first Smart Strike misses, as even Never Miss moves can't pierce through several feet of solid asphalt and pavement! The giant spider, sensing that the danger has passed for the moment, re-emerged from its burrow to lash out at the kaiju!

Accuracy: 12D6 – 1 Pain – 6 Actions = 5D6
(4)(4)(5)(6)(3) Omph, right in the kisser! Critical Hit
Damage: STR (*5) + 3 + Crit (*3) + SE – Vitality (*6) = 5D6/2 = 2D6 + 1 Damage
(5)(6) Rhyxemplar takes 3 Damage; 7/10 HP, - 1 Pain
Pushed back by the spider lunge attack (But not a Lunge attack!), Rhyxemplar stomachs the painful blow and returns it with sharp and pointed one of his own!

(4)(1)(3)(3)(3) Peter takes 1 Damage; 5/9 HP, - 1 Pain
That attack of thier's didn't hurt them as much as they first thought it would, but that still didn't mean Peter wanted to suffer its wrath anymore than it has too! With that thought it mind, he called upon his inner power once more to shut down that move!

The metal kaiju's horn glowed a familiar blue tinge, halting them from preforming any further actions in the round, and earning an excited chitter from the smile and what sounded a lot like "Bah!" for the steel plated beast!
Peter knew, thought, that despite his increadible power and flair for battle, he was not going to get through that beast's armor without either of them putting up a fierce struggle, so they decided to cut the middle man out by summoning a spectral image of their foe to do their work for them! Hey, he's allowed to be lazy everyone once in awhile!
Night Shade

Nightshade and Seismic Toss will do Damage base on the number of Objective Reiner has Completed, up to 5 Unblocked/Unresisted Damage. Since you have fulfilled 3 Mission Objectives up until this point, both moves will do 3 Damage when used by character or NPC.

Peter was a standing a respectful distance away from Rhyxemplar, because even a greviously wounded monster is still a monster on the battlefield, and all the more desperate in its pain fueled rage. Valarie took this moment in the battle to finally voice his concerns for this engagement with his arachnid. Which is to say, none for him at all, but a little for you. "Items can certainly turn the tide of battle, but without good thought to what you wish to accomplish by expending the resource, you can not hope to accomplish much. Now, are you going to use what you learned now and restore the health of Rhyxemplar, or simply withdraw them and save them for another engagement?"
