I would not have put the stat Saturation in place if Valarie had more than 3 Pokémon, and would have toned down the overall difficulty per fight in that case, though it would still be just as hard in the end. All I hope for is that my battle was enjoyable for you, mate, because otherwise I wasted both of our time...

I enjoyed it.  When I wasn't facepalming from realizing I should have done one thing instead of another (or from the terrible, terrible luck), but eh.

So, quick question: Is Saturday or Friday the last day of the festival?

Saturday is. The festival is one week long, starting on Monday and being wrapped up in a huge parade hosted by the gym on Saturday. Sunday is when everything is taken down and tourist start leaving town, and when you have to re-meet the boss in person if you have not skipped town at that point for whatever reason. You have 3.5/5 Goals complete, though Giovanni won't be particularly euthused by your handling of Valarie, since he was rather clear he preferred him dead than permenantly warded off. Of course, he won't call you in until Friday, due to Proton delaying the reports over the Archie Situation, so your character has about a day to prepare for that uncomfortable meeting with da Boss... Fun Fun Fun!
