Ventus would prefer killing any mages he runs across, honestly, but he knows that besides maybe Valder (Apathetic Nathan doesn't count) that murder the shit out of them would be veeeerrrry bad for him. Its not like killing Houndour in a dream world, where no one knows what quite happened there, you know...

Careful with counting Nathan out like that.  No telling how he might react later to stuff like that when he's not apathetic.
