Let's see...
The Scimitar has two Pokeballs on his belt. They're unusually small Pokeballs, heavily shaded so it's difficult to see what Pokemon are inside when it's dark. Careful examination reveals a useless Magikarp and a slightly rarer Qwilfish. Perhaps this indicates that the man is not a very high ranking Scimitar, or that he was experimenting on Water Pokemon.
The belt the balls are on is a dark black metallic sash with clips for Pokeballs.
He has one key, a simple metal key you could buy at any hardware store.
He has the two gauntlets. Yes, the finger Nathan found early in the campaign looks like it could be part of one of these. It looks like they come apart down the middle and fasten again over your hands. They are finely reticulated, with many joints and hinges and wires. His hand itself looks like normal flesh.
His pockets are full of canned food.
He has no form of rank insignia or badge or anything like that, not even a wallet or Trainer ID card (a minor legal offense, since he is carrying Pokemon). He does have $400, two Potions, and an Antidote. Most intriguingly, he has a full sized golden Nugget! Worth $5000. This is, of course, found by Lucifer before you even get close. It was inside a briefcase containing just one sheet of paper: "Notes on Pokemon-release trap system," with a graphic showing how to build a very expensive trap that sends a plethora of Pokemon at intruders. (Think the Mahogany Town base in Gold/Silver).
Valder finds some rope and ties the Scimitar up with his high Survival.
The little stove appears to be something like this:

The disks are not wood, but some kind of engineered fuel. It's too hot to pick up, and in Pokerole I don't think Confusion is intended to function like Telekinesis. Kyuu instead offers you your scarf back as a means to hold the stove - he HATES the smell of those gauntlets, and actually breaks character to hiss and scowl at them!!
The tiny light doesn't even light an entire room, just a 3' radius.
