Despite they were attacked by a swarm of blasted bats, they managed them pretty well without even suffering a singke attack from them. How fortunate and pleasant to see! Oh, and it feels absolutely wonderful to defeat a Zubat with the power of a book. She must have subliminally put a great amount of power in that hit, since she actucally just wanted to ward it off and not directly faint it... Anyway, no way she'd let the bats win just because they're partial Poison Type. They were many, but they were only strong as a swarm.

Just as Shiva was about to pack her weapon book away and pick both of her rodents up and thank them for their effort, one of these Zubats sweeped over he head, grazing her hair and likely messing it up more than it already is 24/7. OF COURSE this got her attention. But before she was able to get a closer look at it and whether it was surrounded by those well-known sparks, it has already disappeared into the darkness out of eyesight... However, luckily her rodents were already darting after it, eager to electrify another bat (did they see this as some sort of fun game?), so all Shiva had to do was following after them.

"There are more bats! My rodents are running after one, I'll follow them and bring it down before it can alert one of the Scimitars or more bats! Be right back... Well, hopefully!" This was actually not the place nor the time to go shinyhunting, but she was already in it... Plus, Zubats don't exist in Unova. They have Woobat to fill that niche. Wouldn't hurt to catch one of these Zubat for the rarity-factor and as a reminder on their advenure here, would it...?
