You had the chance to search for Romeo and Juliet ever since the Merchant informed you, and when Erika dropped the fact that the couple had been murdering others and abucted a child, I thought you would have gone searching for them, even after that battle with Valarie! You kept putting them off, though, and they just became a bigger and bigger threat as time went on....until they wandered into the square.
