The door opens. Light spills into the small tunnel.

There are two Scimitars, dressed much like you...except for their gauntleted hands. No Pokemon or Pokeball belts in sight.

Ventus mentally slapped his head when he forgot to equip the gauntlets (As much as he loathed the idea), but his face was completely neutral, displaying none of his inner hatred for the Scimitars in front of him. He politely nodded their head towards them, subtly doing an inspection of them at the same time. 'No Pokémon around them or on their person, but that could either mean they are hiding them somewhere else on their person...or they are capable enough to deal with threats without them. Best not provoke them for now, unless the group chooses to do so, ' the researcher though, awaiting for either his friend to move on, or to do something decidily less friendly to these blasted archmages... The empath also tried to get a read on their emotional state, and see if they are suspicious and/or hostile to them for any reason. Forwarned is forearmed....

The researcher was annoyed at their arrogance as well, but wisely kept their mouth shut.
