Perhaps I should just scrap this encounter and redo the whole thing from the beginning, since I consider this rather obscenely difficult even by the standards I set out for this campaign. I could also just give your their Character and Pokémon Stat Block in the Meta Thread, to help you better navigate the threat they pose for now on, and do everything else I mentioned previously.
Remember, you have Mamudo Eclispe to try and cap one of those trainers a your single Trainer action for the round (Like what Archie did with Yggdrisil...), and Alcohol, Turbo, and Brain Scrambling Powers (Though they will not work nearly as well on the functional insane) to throw more monkey wrenches into the monster encounter I invaritably created....
As much as I appreciate the end-game challenge of the campaign, I definitely didn't appreciate getting perfectly countered on turn 1 with absolutely no warning, thus crippling any reasonable chance I had at fighting back since Rhyxemplar and Arbok are the only things I have that could reasonably handle a Mega Gardevoir (which now has Aegis Ferrum...yeesh...as if it wasn't tough enough already) :/
I could use Mamudo Eclipse potentially...but that's fairly risky for multiple reasons. I fully expect that if Reiner annihilates one of them, the others won't view him so kindly any more...
To be frank, I'm kinda low on ideas for how to navigate the current situation. Kyubi's the only pokemon I have that can even attempt to harm that Metagross in any significant way. The Gardevoir is at +1 Strength and Defense with halved damage pools against it, the Gallade's at +2 Strength, and they're all Mega with ways to obliterate anything I try sending out against them. They can gang up on Kyubi to KO her ASAP and prevent her from Heat Wave spamming, Raijin, Weavile, Tauros and Felicia fall almost instantly to CC (and other weaknesses. Weavile is way too frail in this fight to be usable), Kingdra and Yang get destroyed by Moonblast/Hyper Voice, Shiinotic falls to Meteor Mash, Breloom and Empirilla are Fighting type, Shellder has no real advantages, Angelica's entire team gets trashed by Gallade alone, and Mew is both otherwise occupied and has no good ways to deal with the Psychic types aside from Dazzling Gleam to hit Gallade (discounting Metronome shenanigans).
It's not a fight I'd desired to try without a considerable amount of backup and praying that I could pull together SOME kind of advantage early on.
