He sighs, still not looking directly at Shiva.  Kirlia is doing his best to encourage Nathan.  After a moment, he sighs again.  "Look...Shiva, I'm sorry...I let my emotions get the better of me and made an incredibly stupid decision acting on them..."

Regret is a powerful emotion.  He means what he says, but this was going to hang over him for awhile...

...Neat. She actually did not expect him to open up that soon. It was clear that Kirlia played a big role on this decision, which was actually good and bad. Good, since his encouragement suceeded; bad, because she was unsure whether the apology will be true because of that. Another positive aspect Shiva notice was that Kirlia was leaving her alone for quite a while now. The reasons for that...well, she wasn't actually that inclinged to find out. Better enjoy this 'freedom'.

She only looked at him for a while after the initiate wary expression faded, not giving any hints of a reaction on the outside.

Maybe it was a suprise that she kept that soft tone. She didn't mean to blame him nor his actions, and least of all she wanted to hurt him. Shouldn't have tried any mindgames. While she thought bringing up his home in Trillium would soft-force a reaction from him, it only made things worse. Meh...

"...You did indeed acted in a way I would have never expected you to do and brought not only you, but all of us into needless danger and fights that could have easily prevented. However, I'm glad that you realized that and feel sorry for that. Just...don't do such stunts again, alright? We likely won't have the same luck to get out unharmed from more bases, the residence of The Almanac if we ever find it, or the elusive Skull Ruins themeslves. If we don't stick together there, it's likely that things wll be way lss fortune for us."
