Second, he goes over to what's left of Juliet to look at T.P.K.  Was Mew right?  Would he really be able to wield it?  He also has to wonder, though...is this how that couple had become so deranged?  Maybe Joey would have a chance still after all if that was the case...before he picks it up, he just looks at it, trying to suss out whether it would actually accept him or not...out of all the items, this is the ONE item they could NOT let the police find out about...though if it wouldn't accept him, maybe Arial?  Though that could be tricky...

Looking at the T.P.K with both your visual and empathetic senses causes it to give three different signals to you in short wave bursts, each carrying their own distinct meaning and 'feeling' to you. The first was a sense of affinity between you and 'it' ; the Psychic Arm seemed to 'like/respect/desire' you own Elemental Affinity/Strong Mind AND your connection with Mew itself, so you feel as if you could at the very least interact with it at a greater length. The second, though, was a SHARP dislike on the Darkness that sufficing your being and a sense of wariness/agitation ; it doesn't appear to like that you wield the Curse Arm that its Weak too, and is rather put off by you sullen history/mind-soul. The last was filled with curiosity and a bit of 'sympathy'/empathy' , in regards to Arial ; the man may not have a particularly apparent Psychic power or the status of being a Chosen One, but his wild, crazy personality and wiliness/happiness to accept all sorts of pain greatly appeals to it, and seems interested 'to familiarize itself' with them.

Overall, you assume that its safe to wield/directly touch the T.P.K. for the time being , but that using it with Mamudo Eclipse (Which seems to be indifferent to its 'Sibling' now) and your current bag of issue could cause complications, and that its willing to give Arial a chance to be interview by it. Hmm...
