Perhaps but, imagine to use the weapon against a person something like: "Now it's time to die" then I show the gun. The person will probably die in laughs. 

Well, the other problem with that line is that this gun doesn't kill people, it drives them insane or knocks them out cold (sometimes permanently) at worst.  Reiner's is the death weapon.

On the plus side, you don't need ammo for it, so you don't have to worry about buying any from the merchant, directly or indirectly.
