Ventus just accepted all her praise and elated/bashful affection and took them in stride, enjoying this rare moment of almost pure happiness and cameradance between them. When she asked him about the Running and his potential participation in the event, the researcher slowly disentangled himself from her, not wanting the cuddle session to stretch on longer than was appropreite and would impy anything unbecoming, before shrugging non-commitally with a neutral expression on his face.

Seeing as I don't want to bumps shoulders with them, if at all possible, and quite strongly DONT want to cause a public disturbance myself, I might just hole up in the Pokémon Center until the event is over, and all them disperse to much more reasonable levels. A bit disappointing and knackering, but I would have plenty of time to review/edit my research notes and train my own Pokémon, so its not all bad. If I end up not seeing you until the Running is over because of this, then I will wish you the best of luck with your 'business' with the Daycare, acquiring a Breeder's License, and over Zamboni like Nathan and I did."
