Reiner makes it a point to not comment on the Prince Charming comment.  Annoying or not, it was as good an explanation as any for why Kyubi was a little clingy.  Okay, VERY clingy.  But aren't all pokemon when they've bonded with their trainers?  Of course, there's still the fact that Kyubi isn't just a pokemon now...

"If it puts you in a better mood, I'm technically not working with the cops at all.  Volunteered to help since I have a stake in what's going on now and was probably going to encounter the 'Vampire' eventually anyways, and Samael essentially just hired me on the spot as a Police Consultant Detective for this case only.  Stand to get a little profit from it, but I'm working independently from the authorities even though they're gonna pay me for the work put in should I manage to take this Vampire down.  They just gave me what little info they had, said there was a sole survivor here they couldn't get answers from themselves, and left me to it."

Reiner swears after Ariana finishes describing the Vampire's strategy and the weapon that they wielded.  "They're gonna pay for what they've done.  Several times over.  I'll think of some way to shut them down.  Well, if that's all you have to say on the matter, I'll leave you to yelling at those worrywart nurses and go talk to the other patient I'm here to see.  That one, I have a work reason for.  And don't worry, I won't breathe a word about this conversation to anyone."
