Iron was the one who started the pokerole, actually. Dies tried to start a Pathfinder thing before the pokerole took off, but that never got off the ground since as far as I know, I was the only one who told him I was interested in that campaign :/ I'd love it if he came back for more than a quick visit/lurk, though.
Oh yeah, you right. It was a shame that idea of him never go out from the paper. I like to see him again in the forums once more.
