Nathan snaps a finger, and Kirlia Teleports right in front of Ventus, blocking his way out and prepping a Confusion (and he'll walk outside to do it if he has to).  He'd already riled Nathan up WAY too much.

"Then I shouldn't have to say it again, but this is NOT.  YOUR.  PROBLEM. I have things to do as well, but I have a little time to kill still.  I'm not giving you a choice in the matter, nor will Kirlia, nor will the topic of this discussion.  YOU don't have a history with this thing.  Leave it alone when we find it, or face the consequences.  Got it?  You said it yourself, this is of great PERSONAL importance to ME, so get it through your thick skull already."

Their stares are ice cold.  Their resolve steel.  Their passion flaming.  Their focus crystal clear.

It passes fairly quickly though, as Nathan still doesn't want to cause a commotion, though he still looks INCREDIBLY irritated.

"I need to tell Shiva what my plans for the day are still.  We'll continue this discussion later."

They both retreat back to the Center's lobby just as quickly as they'd left it, but now with the added ire for Ventus's meddling...

Shiva's probably going to pick up on that when she comes down to the lobby...

*Flash Back Continues!*

In respone to being blatently threatened, Ventus instantly snaps both his wrists down, summoning Apsis and Raphael to his side.  Sensing the agitation and threatening atmosphere, both his family members were ready for battle, towering and hovering over the young trainer and Kirlia with wariness in their eyes. The researcher then calmly clasped his hands togethers together, and tilted their head at them, his expression completely and utter neutral. "Nathan, you are being unreasonable, irrational, and now biligerant about this. I have made my choice, and my mind and soul is settled on this matter, and your behavior right now is certainly not changing either of those intergral parts of me. This time, you will not get your way, so either accept my aid, let me do my duty, or... try to stop me. I wouldn't record the latter option, if I were you. In situation such as these...I play for keeps. Do you understand, my friend?"
