[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Fleeing from battle spends a Vit point. And it can fail. Dex refreshes after every encounter, so spend away!

I don't think Ventus in this rampaging herd of Pokemon has a realistic chance of keeping up with Nathan, who has higher Dex, faster terrestrial Pokemon, and has trained for this. Considering you wanted to chase down only the extra Absols anyway, it probably doesn't matter. But there are still ways for you to get to multiple Absol, so it should be fine. Also, this uber-chaotic feature of the Running was my plan since day 1, and I've been looking forward to testing it out! : ) The encounters are random by their very nature, with the exception of this Pokemon who is seeking Nathan out.

If you want to try something out-of-the-box you are still welcome to do so, FYI!
