Absol shakes his head at each thing you mention. He cuffs Kirlia a bit with one paw. Kirlia just sort of glares back, but realizes this is not an invitation to fight.

Ventus and Shiva see the lone Absol perched atop the barrier, like a cat. It looks straight at Ventus and scowls. Then it leaps over the barrier and starts running east! (and yep, Ventus sees this - Absol is no longer cloaked by dust and chaos). After just a few steps, it looks back to see if Nathan is following.

The townspeople on that side, of course, are panicking.

Nathan follows.  He doesn't care that this is causing a commotion right now.  This Scarred Absol is his only concern right now as long as Ventus doesn't interfere.
