However, despite being somewhat detached from your past, I do think it's important to not forget the important parts of it. As such, if you want to know a few more details about how you got this way...I'll tell you. If we're to be sticking together, I want it to be an honest association, and you have every right to know exactly what happened since it's literally changed your life in ways nobody could have predicted, both physically and spiritually. You may not like what I have to say on the matter, but you might like it less if you eventually remember on your own...I promised you answers, and I won't go back on that now if you desire them, even if they're a little ugly. If you'd rather not hear it, that's fine too, but...there's rather dire potential emotional consequences for us both if you happen to remember what happened on your own for any reason..."
Kyubi's face scrunched up in dismay at the thought of whatever information you withheld that would so radically change her perspective on and feeling for him, and she almost instantly told him to keep the detail away from her. She didn't want to hate or dispise her master at ALL, and was legitimately terrified of anything that could possibly shatter the bond of love and trust they held with their much beloved Master. However, their was one little nagging sentiment that arose from his offer, one that had formed after the countless conversation held about her past self's trainer Archie, and now was the chance to have it finally answered...
So, with a timid gulp and a slight tightening of the hug she shared with you, the kitsune carefully raised her question. "I...I don't really want to know everything...about my past, if...if it could cause me to hurt you in any way, Master. But...their has been something bothering me about Archie Sterling....I've...heard some not so nice things said about him from everyone we both know, but I thought they were just not his friends and were just being rude. Its...its still has been making me concerned to just what...what type of person my old trainer was. Was he...was he a good person, Reiner? Were you...close to him?"
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
