Man. That backstory is awesome! Damn, why I not join more sooner. That Skull Ruin is awesome! Well better late then nothing I guess.

Thank you.  I had to put a decent amount of thought into it, as I feel the backstory is fairly necessary as your character's backbone in these kinds of games (though that last part with the meeting with Mallorn is from the first day of play time in the campaign).  It's kinda grown from there as well as more details have been added throughout the campaign (I've done the same thing with Reiner in the Celadon campaign as well).

And yup, better late than never!  Plus, this campaign is still far from over, unlike the Celadon one, so there's still lots of fun left to enjoy.
