Calam snarls a little at that statement.  He quite likes how he looks, thank you very much.  Sure, it's a nasty looking scar, but all the better to show he's not one to be messed with.  He could tolerate the glasses since he could remove them quite easily if he wished to, and he certainly felt a lot stronger while wearing them as well.

The empath is unfazed by the doom bringer's vocal and emotional dissent against that course of action ('Its hard to intimidated someone that has experience what I have personally encountered.'), but he calmly held up both his hands placatidly at the Absol, entirely uneager to start any form of conflict with them. So, she was relatively quiet for now, and all she had to say for now was "Greetings, people. Slept well and restful?" to carefully break the ice.

Shiva's timely arrival in the lobby and her usual (thankfully) pleasing emotional state brought another smile to his face as he warmly greet her back in turn. "A good morning to you, my friend. I slept well last night, and ready to head out to the Daycare whenever you are! After that, I don't suppose we can't hold another tutoring session for my dear Raphael, could we? I do want to teach them Nasty Plot eventually, as that move is devastating in conjuction with his wide and expansive movepool, and it would be a nice method to muscle past people and Pokémon bulky as I am!"
