You've put Shiva on edge.  She's barely able to hold herself back.

'I know.'

Ventus is on edge too.  He's just not showing it.

'I know.  Stop telling me the obvious.'

And yet you're missing the obvious.  They're worried.  About you.  They're working together despite whatever difficulties they have with each other.

'And your point is?'

How do you plan to overcome their teamwork, their bond that they've forged through their interactions, the bond they've actively worked to forge?  They're closer to each other than they are with you.

'I have a plan.  This is tough, but it's not unmanageable.'

And that plan is?  You can't unleash everything.

'I think there's a little wiggle room here considering how brutally powerful that Facade was.'

'And that Breloom isn't going down any time soon if I don't do something.  You saw how quickly he healed off most of the damage done to him.'

You could lose this, you know.

'I don't intend to.'

But you could.  What will you do if you do?

'It's too early in the battle to think about that now.'

If not now though, when?

'Just...be quiet.  You're not helping me.'

Are you so sure about that?

'I said be quiet.'

Nathan's got a hand on his forehead.  He's still apathetic, but his head's starting to hurt a little now.  This just doesn't make any sense to him.  

How could those two be so close in such a short time?  Why were they still hanging around him?  

He hadn't found the answers he needed yet.

He shakes his head.  He needs to refocus.  There's a battle going on.  Grid had let out some of that static charge he'd accumulated last battle, Starmie had done a great job standing up to what would otherwise be a disadvantageous situation for it.  He could still gain the upper hand.  And he was determined to.

(Survival leveled from 2 to 3 for 16 exp!  Nathan wasn't kidding when he told Shiva he was feeling a little more connected to the natural 'magics')
