@Dragonstrike and @Lord Windos, I gladly repeat that while Kirlia calming Nathan and having him forget what ailed him was a good call actually and neatly solved things for Nathan and saved him from avoiding both Shiva and Ven, it didn't solved a thing for her. The irony is that it seemingly made it worse, since things could have been eased if he'd calmly explain why he even desired to battle and what the intention was - as well as rather soon fixed with an honest apology from Nathan for putting my chara through emotional havok. This won't ever happen now and don't get me wrong here, I certainly do not want or ask for for Nathan to remember things. It can't be brought back.
Though, the party has overdone it now and please do understand that I can't just have Shiva forgive and forget as Ven did after all that she endured already. (Sidenote, with incoming level-ups I'm collecting for I'll strenghten her resilience to prevent her from... considering a horrible thing again). Her ability to forgive is not endless and she isn't used to deal with demanding stressful situations as happened during and after battle like Windos' chara is. She'll still interact with Nathan and Ven normally as even possible since she and me hate beings at odds with party members, while the scars of inclicted wounds live on in her. Talking about that vision might have saved things it seems, but 1. me too wanted to start our way to the next city as soon as possible and 2. when she was greatly disappointed about learning that the chance for an apology has been killed by Nathan not remembering what he'd even have to apology for, she was outright done for the moment.
This all started with what has been named That Battle, and I hope it was worth everything it has caused. To me, it was not and has done more harm to the party than I enjoy, if I'm very honest, and the positive effect of how it was supposed to help Nathan understand things is kinda likely lost as well with the memory...
...Let's just move on now and enjoy that mini-Running Iron promised us on the way to Star City. I do have an idea how Shiva certainly would feel better about what Nathan has put her through, I'll send it to both of you via PM now.
