That sounds indeed rather liberating. I hope that Nathan can adapt to the situation, since as soon as Shiva realizes she cannot bring them close to one another again, she'll be frustrated at first (not to a point wher she is threathened to fall into another epidode though), then accepting to that and moves on. Not hoing to get ruined and hindered in het own things just because of her travel companions.

Oh no, its still entirely possible for Ventus and Nathan to become the best of friends, like he is with Shiva (Though I imagine not to the extent to romance)! Its just that Nathan has to work for it now, and that will most likely involve him turning down that stubborn streak and opening his mind to foreign ideas for a change. My character will invest exactly however much he wishes with being friendly/being a friend to Nate, but the boy has to start ponying up as well if he just doesn't want to be relgated to the loose aquantence zone forever more!
