Its is something I worry too. According to Windos, he was with Emily and Kyuubi. And thats give a idea if Gaspar is around. Something who might help to revive Mina. And no, is not copying Mew if you are thinking that.

I'm afraid that unless Gapar wants to serve as the sacrificial life, there's not much it could do to help Reiner here.  Mew's powers over creation and life are what give her the ability to do the soul merging, which Gaspar doesn't have naturally nor would know how to control if he were to Transform into Mew...
