[Meta thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure : Celadon City Vandels
(10-15-2017, 11:18 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: If target uses Protect style moves, then the bonus damage of the Z-Move is ignored entirely, and its treated as if the target is only suffering from the regular damage of the move (I.E: STR + Base). They'll still take damage, but nowhere near as much if they just decided to take the move on the chin!

Also, when Garvedour makes a black hole, they don't use a Z-Move to do so: they actually make a mini-Black Hole. If they so happened to use Black Hole Eclipse in synch with summoning the real thing, they end up creating a bigger, badder, and self sustaining Black Hole. Eventually it'll go away, but not without compacting/devouring/erasing a LARGE area, the size of which can scale upwards to City Sized if the Garvedour was particularly powerful, Buffed, and motivated. As such, owning a Darkium Z and Garvedour together at the same time is ILLEGAL no matter what, much less equipping one, and all Trainers are informed of this fact. If they break the law, they both they and their Pokémon are promptly captured and executed.

Sounds like a reasonable nerf if a Shield move is used at the right time.

Yeah, the 'dex entry predated the actual attack and all that.  Still, I found it funny that Gardevoir can actually create a Black Hole in the games as of Sun and Moon, finally showing that the Pokedex entry wasn't lying Tongue

Good thing Megas and Primals can't use Z-moves, period, right?  Or Rayquaza would be having a LOT of fun in Anything Goes...
