I imagine Orthros will actually kinda like Shiva, seeing as Nathan does consider her a friend.  Of course, he might have a hard time expressing that if she won't want him anywhere near her...but I would hope that would also help soften the blow a little.

And yeah, I want to do the reveal before Little Cup so I have the option to use Orthros there if I desire to.  Plenty of opportunity there for Shiva to see Nathan knows what he's doing with the dog in those battles, after all.

And yes, it's very much an honesty thing from Nathan's viewpoint (and always has been).  Now that he'll have no reason to hide Orthros from her, he'll definitely want to tell her at the earliest opportunity.

Well, if you guys want to get the reveal done ASAP, keep in mind that Nathan has to make amends with Ventus EXTREMELY  FAST in that case, as if the researcher even suspect Nathan going to reveal Orthros to Shiva right now, expect a....vivid reaction unless the boy demonstratively proves that the demon dog is not only a non-threat, but can be completely cowed in need be. Even then, Ventus would still not want her to suffer that realization at all and probably chew you out for forcing Orthros onto the group, since the species nearly traumatized himself and most definitely did so with Shiva.

Of course, rushing things with Ventus will also liable to cause problems, due to still being very much livid for the boy's slights and callousness displayed towards him, his beliefs, and past being fresh in his mind, so you are also laible to upset him regardless.

As for understanding Orthros beyond being kept on a tight leash by Nate...not likely to happen, sadly. Ventus is already prejudiced/hateful/spiteful/fearful towards the supernatural as is, and coupled with his personal run ins with the abominable mutts (his words, not mine) and his current attitude regarding Nathan/his discussion about it with him, he's not going to give it ANY leeway. That, and as a Pokemon Researcher , he always considers the species' natural behavior as a baseline to judge them and/or how to care/handle them, so since he knows that the Delta Species hunts people for both sport and to generate fear (or kill them) for thier food, that is obviously going to color his perception of all its individuals.

 If anything, seeing the dog terrified of him is likely going to make my character happier than if it were trying to be friendly/neutral, as he know they know were it stand with them...
