I'll leave it alone for you/have Ventus deliberately ignore them, then, since I don't want my character to start causing OOC Conflict among us, instead of the game. Though, unless you are going to have Nathan adopt the Pinsir himself if its still there, I don't personally why removing it from the equation altogether would be such a bad thing, all things considered.

...Wait a moment, ARE you going to have Nate adopt the Pinsir if its there?

It's something I'm considering, yes.  Nathan feels kinda bad for him, after all.  And Nathan's ire is more directed at the trainer, rather than the pokemon.
