In that case, nope nope nope NOPE. I'll be frank here: if you adopt Pinsir into your party , then Ventus is going to scream bloody murder, close all connections towards your own character, and just leave the group entirely, as he would have had enough of the boy's (to him) reckless foolishness. Nathan is already on thin ice enough as is with him, and his ownership of Orthros is a VERY contentious point among the rest of the party as we have recently discussed, and you want to adopt what could have been your killer? Something that would most definitely still hold a grudge against Shiva/Ventus/Valder for not only separating it from their trainer, but also stealing and losing its Pinsirite? That's a bad idea if I ever saw one, in my opinion!

Who ever said I was going to use Pinsir on a regular basis if Nathan adopted him to get him out of the system?  Or that Nathan would tell Ventus and Shiva in the first place?

I would have Ventus leave the party anyway, as I refuse to have a ticking time bomb like that hanging around that is just BEGGING my character to get into a bad fight with you about this. Dragonstrike, if you adopt Pinsir, you are quite deliberately setting up a situation that just invites character conflict with either my own or Shiva, since she saw what it was capable of and didn't seem as fond of it as Nathan strangely is. I don't want to endure that constant, looming threat to Ven's sensibilities AND try to moderate/limit the explosive fallout that comes if even the barest mention of it gets out, so if that means my character leaves the campaign altogether and I have to make a new one, so be it! If that mean I can't come back to the game at all....well, I'll certainly have the time to update my own Game Thread on a weekly basis from then on.
