The plots already in motion have a lot of potential to alter Ventus' opinions in whatever ways Windos chooses. We could resolve some of his hangups, give him opportunities to see the POV of other characters, and Windos could direct a gradual change toward a character who meshes better, while still keeping the traits Windos and the other players are enjoying.

This sounds very nice, what do you think about that, Windos? Otherwise, 'not friends, but...you know the rest', which neither me and Shiva have too much of an issue with.

Fine with that, and just got finished asking for Iron's advice via PM and sending him the first draft of my second character's backstory for him to review, just in case he's needed. Hopefully I can get all the help possible, as Ven needs it if things continue to be rough going for them!

I have a decent amount planned for how Nathan's going to 'change' during this journey, just so you know, @Lord Windos.  This upcoming attempt at compromise with Ventus after Nathan has accidentally taken it too far is one step in that direction.  Nathan's method of handling Pinsir if it's at the Shelter is another.  And expect him to be rather...different around Almanac when we start getting into that portion of the plot.  How much we see of that side of Nathan is going to be fairly dependent how well everyone else keeps him in check when it rears its ugly head.

Duly noted, and I'll keep that in mind for the future when it comes time for Nate to have another go at making it up to Ven. Also, Ven would most likely encourage any ruthless behavior in your character, as it show (to him) positive signs that you are more than willing to let go of principles if it means stopping a great evil!

Ven's viewpoint on them is decidily negative, as what he's heard and seen of their activity leaves a lot to be desired, especially since he consider himself to be a credible, respectable Pokémon Researcher in his own right. Taking them all the way down the hierarchy would be rather nice, in both his and mine eyes!
