As bold a suggestion as it is currently, I'd recommend letting Nathan know about Kingdra.  He'd be more than happy to help with the funding issues Ventus is about to have for multiple reasons.

Doesn't have to be right away, of course.  But hopefully the next talk Nathan has with Ventus (which I hope can occur soon after Ventus notices Nathan isn't angry...at all.  Nor apathetic, even) will at least open Ventus up the idea that Nathan is trying to help...oh the irony...funny how we seem to be in a complete role reversal now, right?

Alright, I'll keep that in mind just in case things don't go as planned with Director North! It be a great way to thaw tension between them, especially if Raphael is out to help further mediate things between them! He'll most likely notice Nate's lack of negativity towards himself, and will at least be curious about that (to him) oddity.
