Well, I can see why Ventus is so...concern about Ortros, but in the end, the Delta Houndoom just follow his nature, since he is only a animal, he doesn't have something like a human mind. But even Heart must agree is sometimes... dangerous. Both to have one with you, or meet one. He see what kinda of power the Deltamons is capable. He wants one Deltamon because he know what they capable, and if Heart see Ortros, he can help to easy the apresentation to Shiva. Of course if Nathan wants of course. In this moment, Heart and Nathan is the only one who is not uncomfortable about Deltamon (from what I could understand until now).

Saying that, you then have to say what its nature is, though.  And there are exceptions to the rules...like Orthros.

And technically, raising any pokemon is dangerous.  Some are just relatively more dangerous than others at first.

Nathan's only comfortable with Orthros because he did something he didn't expect: defied his nature as a Houndour, however briefly.  He doesn't trust the other members of Houndoom's pack any more than Ventus would right now.

Delta species aren't any stronger than their normal counterparts typically.  The only differences are type and maybe a few of their living conditions/habits.

We don't know about Valder's opinion on one of the Delta Houndour in Nathan's party yet (lucky you that you're not too deep in this whole things as we seem to be) Besides, @Nylon and @Spiritmon, your people's interest in a crafted Cleanse Tag from Shiva to ward off Ghost Types in areas they're present? (we know they dwell in both the Skull Ruins and Earthstar Forest) Costs me some effort that I'll bring up if there's enough interest and you a bit of cash for the specialy prepares paper ($300), cloth ($600), wood ($900), or metal ($1200) (choose freely). I don't know how Haunter will react to this, Nylon, so I'll leave decisions to you.

That reminds me: Shiva has a Litwick, and Heart has a Phantump.  Probably have to consider that carefully too.
