Welp, there we go.  It's a lot for Shiva to take in, I'm sure, but it needed to be said.

I like recounting of events, as its a nice recap of an episode I found to be HIGHLY enjoyable, if only because Ventus finally had a proper enemy he could full on murderlate for triggering his parinioa / harming his friends, instead of being ever stonewalled by Nathan.

Two problems with it, however, though one of them is inherent since you are doing a mostly full recounting. Namely that you mentioned the fact that Ven bloody murdered the Delta Houndours in question, and left out the bits where Ventus explicitly said that he knew people or techniques that could handle and contain Orthros for research. The former is certainly going to lead to uncomfortable questions/thoughts by Shiva and tarnish the image of such a sweet man in her eyes once more, and the latter is just going to irritate him when he find out you left out those details in the story to rationalize making giving the dog away an non-option. Either one alone could cause kurfufles in the group, and that is discounting the most likely negative reaction Shiva going to have at the partial reveal of a Dream Demon Abomination Delta Species That Preyed on Her and Her Pokémon's Sleep , or DDADSTPHHPS to abbreviate.

Right now I imagine Ventus is quietly updating/reviewing his research notes with his Egg swathed in a warm blanket in his lap, working much harder than he should to both get the work done and distract himself from the worry and frustration he feels over what's happening tonight. Oh, and Haneal's laying around to act as a heating unit and to occasionally re-warm the blanket to keep the egg nice and incubated, and maybe Abaddon too. Hmm....maybe I should write a scene about that in the morn...
