The crowd shies away from Absol, but also from this rude man. One passerby even says "So? Not against the law. You can move right along like a normal person."
"No way! I hate this Pokemon! C'mon, battle me right here right now. An Absol once beat me in a tournament. I was way ahead. I bear a grudge and I've been looking for the right Pokemon to take him down with, training them up, readying them for this day of revenge! Don't worry, hehe, I don't wish harm on your Absol...but I AM going to defeat it! Yeah, no fainting is fine, it's all about winning! Everyone will enjoy seeing your dark Pokemon go down! Go, Accelgor! Go, Muk!"
Calam: (4) + 7 + his surprise, can you add this to his character sheet
Kirlia: (5) + 7 = 12
Accelgor: (5) +3 Dex + 2 Survival +1 Surprise = 11
Muk: (2) = 7
(Whoops, covered up Calam's surprise when I shortened the text boxes earlier. I've expanded them again now, though. Calam's got an initiative of 13)
Nathan stops walking as soon as the man starts shouting.
'Ugh. This guy is like a less extreme version of Ventus...'
He turns around to face the stranger, looking just a tad irritated.
"You have some kind of a sixth sense for Absol or something? Because that was WAY too fast of a reaction...*sigh*...guess I'll humor the demand though since you've already summoned your pokemon. Calam, Kirlia, it's showtime. Let's try and keep this quick."
Calam snickers a little when he sees that Accelgor, though he's still a little wary for obvious reasons.
"Calam, Night Slash. Be ready to evade if that Accelgor uses a move that will make your attacks noticeably weaker. Kirlia, focus your power and assist Calam with Confusion, but stay topped up if you can. And both of you be ready to select another move to use if your current choices get disabled."
Calam
Night Slash x3 on Accelgor (non-lethal. Pursuit instead if Night Slash is disabled.)
Accuracy: 5(!) Dex + 3 Fight + 2 Brawl - 3/4/5 Actions = 7/6/5 D6
Damage: 3 Strength + 3 Power + 1 STAB + 1 BG = 8 D6 base (7 D6 base for Pursuit)
Effect: Only 3 successes needed to crit when using Night Slash!
Conditional Evade (If Accelgor uses Struggle Bug or Acid Spray on him)
Accuracy: 10 D6 base - 3/4/5 Actions = 6/5/4 D6
Kirlia
Calm Mind
Accuracy: 4 Dex + 3 Fight + 2 Canalize - 3 Actions = 6 D6
Effect: +1 Strength and Defense
Confusion x2 on Accelgor (Draining Kiss instead if Kirlia has a Pain Penalization and Accelgor is still in the battle, or if Confusion is Disabled)
Accuracy: 9 base - 4/5 Actions = 5/4 D6
Damage: 4* Strength + 2 Power + 1 CP + 1 STAB = 8 D6 base (7 D6 base for DK)
Effect: Confusion (1) or Restores HP equal to half the damage dealt, rounded down, depending on the move used.
