"Okay then. I heard there some rare Mudkip around here, so I might want try to catch it if possible. Well, if it is permited of course." Heart notices Kirlia still a bit rough about last battle. Then he decided to ask something to both Nathan/Kirlia. "Hey Kirlia. Are you okay?" Heart decides too bring Rose and Vitkor. They might want to walk a while out of the Pokeballs. "Viktor, could you make some company to Kirlia? He might like another Pokemon friend who knows?" Heart thinks its a good idea because Viktor its a bit shy so perhaps this not annoy Kirlia? Perhaps?

Action: Viktor to present himself to Kirlia and help him (Kirlia) interact a little more with other Pokemons.

When we were doing the journey though Metagross, Viktor was quite curious about the orders of his master, but decided to follow. Its never hurt to meet a new friend like Litwik! Following his order, Viktor careful aproach Nathan and shy wave his hand, showing he is come in peace. He is a little shy and scare about Nathan atmosphere, but he careful aproach Kirlia and presents himself to him. He wave his hand to him, but dont aproach much to not invade his personal space. He will only aproach if Kirlia master let him interact with him (Waiting Kirlia interaction about that).

(Huh.  Didn't even know Phantump have arms.  Learn something new every day, I guess.)

Kirlia is, understandably, a little on edge.  Viktor's a ghost, after all, and he's not exactly in good condition right now (still at 3/7 HP since it's only been 3 or 4 hours since the battle).

All Nathan says on the matter is, "Had a bit of a rough encounter with a right jerk of a trainer right before we left.  Wasn't any time to heal him.  Calam got hit pretty hard too.  Kirlia, you and Yule hang back with the others for a bit.  I'm going to scout ahead with Swiftfire and the bees."

Nathan pretty much leaves Kirlia to his own devices otherwise. Noticeably, Kirlia steers Yule clear of the metagross. Particularly the one Ventus is on. (Let's give Empathy a +1 for 6 exp while we're at it, shall we?)

Nathan's also pretty glad to be a bit farther away from Ventus right now. The distance helps relieve some of that nervous fear/worry.

Nathan sends Princess and Zippy off to aid in the scouting.  It proves useful in noticing larger obstacles before they become problems.  

Except a little while later, the both of them come back in a right hurry!  Nathan can't quite tell what's going on, but he can tell they want him to follow them.

Wonder what's got them so worked up?
